Construction Update – Week of January 26, 2018

Progress is being realized on the exterior brick as the skin of the theater is nearly ¾ of the way finished. Attention is now focusing on the next phase of the brick installation for the mixed-use portion of the project. Site improvements are continuing as key utility connections were made this week with the sewer connection on Highway 20 continuing construction as well as a water tap being made on West Broad at the east end of the project. Georgia Power set the electric transformer on the west side of the theater two weeks ago as the utility services bring the connections to the project buildings. Gas service is set to be run to the project the first of next week. Interior trades continue to work in the theater and mixed-use buildings where the framing work allows.
