The City of Sugar Hill welcomes its 9th Annual Sugar Rush Arts Festival on October 21 & 22! The Sugar Rush Arts Festival is an outdoor event located in Downtown Sugar Hill featuring visual and performing arts, food, music, history, and family fun.
Saturday, October 21: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Sunday, October 22: noon – 5 p.m.
Eat: Experience the sweet flavors of local cuisine while listening to live entertainment throughout the Arts Festival. Stop by one of the many food trucks or drop by one of your favorite downtown restaurants!
- Shine Pizza, Rushing Trading Co., Rivermill Bakery, Cantina Loca, Sugar Hill Distillery, Indio Brewing, Scoops Ice Cream, and Central City Tavern. Additional dining options in Downtown Sugar Hill are Home Spun, Uptown Wings, La Perla Del Ulua, and the Sugar Hill Bakery.
Play: Festival-goers can watch talented, young, local artists live paint for the duration of the festival. In addition to DIY crafts for all to bring home, Sugar Rush will have a juried art show representing local, regional, and international talent. Artists will have their mixed media artwork on display at Sugar Hill’s Art Gallery during festival hours on Saturday and Sunday.
With pumpkin painting, inflatables, arcade games, and family-fun activities on West Broad St., in the E Center and the Eagle Theatre, this year’s Sugar Rush promises to be bigger, better, and more artfully festive.
Relax: The festival kicks off on Friday, October 20, with a free concert featuring the bands MIXTAPE and The Neon Queen at The Bowl. Get ready to dance the night away to the biggest ABBA, 80s, and 90s hits ever performed. The doors open at 6 p.m., so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot and get the party started.
